In our news item dated 18/02/13 we advised that there were a number of proposed changes to the EMDG legislation before parliament. By way of update these changes are yet to be approved and therefore not legislated. The EMDG rules for the 2013/14 expenses will therefore be the same as the previous year until advised otherwise by Austrade. It could be some time before they are reconsidered given the recent changes to the ministry and the addition of a new trade minister, The Hon Richard Marles. We will keep you informed of any further updates.
